In 2017, I co‑created an adult indoor skydiving league at iFLY Portland with my friend Vince Faires: the Oregon Wind League (O.W.L.). I designed the league’s original logo to give the event a more official identity and to support future merchandise. The recap video below highlights the league’s first successful season, edited with a lighthearted tone that matched the close‑knit, fun‑loving group of skydivers who made up the community.
At the request of the league’s current lead, I later updated the logo. The original version leaned into a stylized owl emblem, while the updated design refined the flyer formation inside the eye and introduced a cleaner, more “league‑like” font. The new outline‑driven look gives the logo a sharper, modern feel while keeping its connection to the sport.
