A friend and I launched a YouTube talk show in 2017 where we discuss the indoor skydiving industry, and we’ve continued producing monthly episodes ever since. By 2020, I felt the show needed a more polished and memorable intro, so I created the motion graphic below. The design incorporates the iconic old Portland International Airport carpet (we film in Portland), a retro neon grid to match the music, explosive transitions, and our own heads with added “fan eyes” for a playful, signature touch.
