Boogieman Suits approached me to design a sleeve for their new Skin Suit model. I explored several directions: two repeating pattern concepts, a design Boogieman later nicknamed the “flower” pattern, and an ornate motif inspired by a chair I purchased in Singapore. They ultimately selected the Flower and Ornate designs for production.
Below are the initial explorations, where I started with bold colors and experimented with integrating the Boogieman logo into the patterns.
These are the final sleeve designs, with Boogieman making the ultimate choice on which pattern would be included in their “VIP Skin” suit line.
This flower design was selected by Boogieman‑sponsored athlete Amberly Brown, a highly decorated professional skydiver with numerous world records, thousands of jumps, and extensive experience as both an indoor skydiving instructor and competitor. She wore the suit featuring this design while competing at the 2018 World Indoor Skydiving Cup in Bahrain.
